The International Clean Energy Alliance:
Securing a Clean Energy Future: The ICE Alliance Gets Behind the Waxman-Markey Climate Bill

The U.S. needs comprehensive legislation that spurs investments in clean energy, investments that create jobs and enhance industry's competitiveness. With this in mind, the ICE Alliance has met with top senior energy advisors to leading members of Congress to discuss the Waxman-Markey legislation, the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009. The ICE Alliance's forcefulness paid off: its delegation was asked to submit related comments. The ICE Alliance offered amendment language and specific recommendations for the legislation, and is actively tracking the bill's progress as it goes to the House floor..
