The International Clean Energy Alliance:
Spearheading a Green Recovery With the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act signed into law and President Obama’s proposal to make billions of dollars worth of investments in clean energy, the ICE Alliance is poised to influence the workings of such directives. Our last roundtable discussion, for instance, allowed us to plug our members into the White House. Nancy Sutley, Chair of the White House Council for Environmental Quality, was on hand to deliver keynote remarks and listen to the questions and concerns brought up by industry representatives. Our Executive Director, Debby Stone, recently spoke at the New Energy for America summit, a best practices exchange focused on the new Administration’s energy plan. Continued outreach and action is essential to ensure that U.S. Government support for clean energy programs and investments is the most effective, particularly in today’s pressing context.
